Using less fuel with low consumption airplanes is the biggest lever for flying more efficiently. With every aircraft generation CO2 emissions fall by up to 25 percent on average. However, this alone is not enough to limit CO2 emissions overall. Sustainable Aviation Fuel can be used in aircrafts without any problems and is a real alternative to fossil kerosene.
Air BP agrees its first sale of sustainable aviation fuel at Munich Airport. This latest supply agreement follows Air BP’s recent SAF supply to three UK locations: London Biggin Hill, Airbus-owned Hawarden and Centreline FBO Bristol and one in France, at Clermont Ferrand.

AIR FRANCE-KLM launched ist first long-haul flight powered by sustainable aviation fuel. It took off at 3.40pm on 19 May, flight 342 departed from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and touched down in Montreal.
