AES joins the “Partnerschaft Umwelt Unternehmen” (Environmental Partnership of Companies) network
On 14 October in the Bremen Parliament, AES was welcomed into the “Partnerschaft Umwelt Unternehmen” network. With our PV system, a largely electric fleet, and a certified environmental management system, we are advancing measurable climate action across our operations.
AES has joined the “Partnerschaft Umwelt Unternehmen” (Environmental Partnership of Companies), a network that brings together committed companies to drive climate action, climate adaptation, and circular economy. The admission took place on 14 October in the Bremen Parliament.
At AES, we focus on practical, effective sustainability measures. A 1,200 m² photovoltaic system on our headquarters’ roof supplies around two thirds of our electricity needs. It also powers our hybrid and fully electric vehicle fleet with renewable energy. In 2025, our environmental management system achieved ISO 14001 certification. Earlier, in May 2025, the State of Bremen recognized AES as a “CO₂ minus 20” Climate Protection Company.
Membership in the “Partnerschaft Umwelt Unternehmen” strengthens our exchange with peers, supports knowledge transfer, and opens doors for joint projects. We look forward to sharing insights from the aviation sector and learning from best practices across other industries. This is how we connect engineering excellence with responsible action and contribute to a resilient economy in Bremen and Bremerhaven.
Why this network matters
Combining climate action, efficiency, and economic viability is a decisive competitive factor. The partnership enables cross-industry collaboration to develop solutions that are both environmentally sound and operationally feasible.
“Sustainability is part of our performance promise. This partnership reinforces our course and helps us learn from other companies’ best practices in Bremen.”
